This site was originally designed for A-level psychology students from the UK, but we now write articles which are accessible to a broad spectrum of psychology students from basic entry psychology programs up to degree level study.
The aim of the site is to write engaging and informative articles in an academic style, but still clear and simple enough to be understood by psychology students of all educational levels.
The site details psychology articles about the theories and perspectives that have shaped the discipline, in a user-friendly format – all freely accessible with no subscription fees. Each topic article also provides links to relevant journals and academic studies, related research and topics, to provide a wealth of additional information to aid learning.

Saul Mcleod is a qualified psychology teacher with over 17 years' experience of working in further and higher education. He has been published in psychology journals including Clinical Psychology, and the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships.
Olivia Guy-Evans obtained her undergraduate degree in Educational Psychology at Edge Hill University in 2015. She then received her master’s degree in Psychology of Education from the University of Bristol in 2019. Olivia has been working as a support worker for adults with learning disabilities in Bristol for the last four years.
Charlotte Ruhl is a member of the Class of 2022 at Harvard University. She studies Psychology with a minor in African American Studies. On campus, Charlotte works at an implicit social cognition research lab, is an editor for the undergraduate law review.
Ayesh Perera graduated in 2020 from Harvard University, where he studied religion, ethics and politics. He is presently serving on the Core Team of Sri Lanka’s Centenary Movement, and is engaged in research involving economic policy and constitutional law issues
Charlotte Nickerson is a member of the Class of 2024 at Harvard University. Coming from a research background in biology and archeology, Charlotte currently studies how digital and physical space shapes human beliefs, norms, and behaviors and how this can be used to create businesses with greater social impact.
Julia Simkus is a member of the Class of 2023 at Princeton University, majoring in Psychology. She plans to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology upon graduation. She has been published in psychology journals including Frontiers, and Handbook of Substance Misuse and Addictions: From Biology to Public Health.
Mia Belle Frothingham is a member of the Class of 2022 at Harvard University, majoring in Psychology and Biology. She is a passionate author, science communicator, and aspiring astrobiologist and astronaut with a great interest in clinical, cognitive, and behavioral psychology.

Fantastic, simple, easy to follow layout that has just helped me complete my second assignment for an Openings course at Open University. It has been over 20 years since i was at school so i am struggling a little with all this. I have book marked it to my favorites and i intend to go through all the chapters/sections at a later date when i have spare time.
